The Middle School Female Sports Enhancement Program is designed for 6th to 8th-grade girls who play sports or who are interested in playing sports and want a solid foundation of athletic success.
Adolescence is the critical window to strengthen the foundation of sports movement skills and identify areas of weakness that
can impact long-term play in sports. Girls are inherently at risk for developing higher rates of sports-related injuries, especially
knee and overuse injuries which can last a lifetime. Despite comprehensive knowledge that strength and conditioning
programs decrease injury risk and improve sports performance, these programs are still rarely offered for girls.
